MEDICAL AND NURSING SERVICES

An Overview-

With oversight by our Medical Director, and under the guidance of the Director of Nursing, the Nursing Department provides comprehensive skilled nursing care on a 24-hour basis.

Our clinical team includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapist, Registered Dietitian, Recreational Activity Staff, and a Social Worker.  We are a bilingual Russian-English facility with benefit of a multilingual staff.  Various staff members are also fluent in French, Portuguese, Spanish, Tagalog, Hindi-Malayalam, Telugu, Greek, Ukrainian, Hungarian, Slovak, Czech, and Bulgarian…and, of course, Russian and English.

Services provided by the TFRNC team of professionals and consulting practitioners, include: admissions assessments, periodic examinations, diagnostic testing, intravenous therapy, administration of medications and treatments, podiatric services, dental care and specialist referrals as appropriate. Respiratory, physical and occupational equipment are utilized, as prescribed. Our Medical Director and Director of Nursing are specialists in gerontology.
