SOCIAL SERVICES
The Social Services Department provides psychosocial and emotional support and assistance to our Residents and their families. The department head is a Certified Social Worker who ministers to the needs of all Residents.
The Social Worker is knowledgeable of community resources and assists families in negotiating the paperwork that often seem insurmountable. The Social Worker serves as the link between the Resident's health care team and the family.
Services Include:
- Assessments/Evaluations
- Bereavement Support
- Grief Counseling
- Counseling on Death and Dying
- Reality Therapy
- Discharge Planning
- Family Council
- Resident Council - Russian and English groups
- Russian-English speaking counseling and assistance
We welcome family involvement and Resident input and encourage both participation and attendance at Family and Resident Councils.
